Nervous about taking Chemistry for the first Time?

Could anyone please tell me what I could practice on before taking my first chemistry class, I am really nervous about it. I am attending a community college and never taken chemistry in my lifetime. Please tell, do I need to practice formulas? or whatever information you can provide I totally appreciate. Thanks. This is a requirement for my Sociology Major
