It's really important that you give her some time to recover before she starts dating someone else. It seems like to me that she's not ready for another relationship. You're right - you will never be able to win her heart completely if you don't give her enough time to completely recover. I just don't think that she has the energy to love someone else when this tragedy happened to her. To be honest, I don't think your relationship with work right now because girls don't tell their boyfriends about their ex-boyfriends unless they REALLY miss them. Give her some time.
